We proved the IRS penalty was created in error and it was completely waived. The IRS sent us notification we owed nothing. We are very grateful for Casey’s ACA knowledge and expertise!"

I followed all of the steps necessary to enroll and even made payment to my previous employer for the first two months of coverage. But then I received a notice from my health plan carrier stating I had two weeks to make my initial payment or my coverage would be term
“I lost health coverage through my employer and had to enroll in COBRA. I followed all of the steps necessary to enroll and even made payment to my previous employer for the first two months of coverage. But then I received a notice from my health plan carrier stating I had two weeks to make my initial payment or my coverage would be terminated as if never covered. The health plan mistakenly had me enrolled as a Cal-COBRA beneficiary and therefore they expected payment direct to them. I contacted BeaconPath immediately for assistance as I could not have my coverage cancelled. The team at BeaconPath worked tirelessly to fix the issue with the health plan, even covering the Cal-COBRA premium to make sure I never had a gap in my coverage. The health plan has since corrected their error and I am enrolled as I should be. I thank all of the team members at BeaconPath for working together internally, with the health plan and with me to make sure I was continuously covered.”
